The Grandview Steelers opened main camp today as prospective Steelers took part with high tempo ice sessions at the House of Steeltown Pride. The camp included players aged 15 to 20 with a total 36 players. The players were split into two squads, Team Black and Team Gold skating with Assistant coaches Mischa Polzin and David Boyce with emphasis on conditioning drills. Head Coach Jim Camazzola also took part of both sessions.
Camp continues this week including the first of two intermural games between the two squads this weekend. The Steelers play their first pre-season again on August 21st against the Port Moody Panthers.
