Steelers Announce Regular Season Schedule

The Grandview Steelers are proud to announce a full 44 game schedule for the 2021/2022 PJHL regular season. The Steeler will kick off their season on the road on September 11th against the White Rock Whalers at the Centennial Arena. The Steelers will have their home opener the following night on September 12th hosting the Langley Trappers. The Steelers have the honour of playing the last game of the PJHL regular season on February 13th prior to the playoffs.

The season features an even split of 22 home games and 22 away games. The Steelers season will also see the return to conference weighted schedule. This means the Steelers will face the Tom Shaw Conference opponents 6 times and face the Harold Brittain Conference twice. The teams will split their games evenly at home and away.

The Steelers will continue to play their home games on Sunday nights at the House of Steeltown Pride. The games will be at the familiar time at 7:15 pm at the Burnaby Winter Club. The Steelers will also get their first look at the new expansion Chilliwack Jets with a road trip to Sardis Sports Complex on Saturday January 22nd. Other interesting note is that the Grandview Steelers busiest stretch is from December 2nd to December 7th which sees the team play 4 games in 6 nights.

The PJHL Winter classic returns this season starting Thursday December 30th to Sunday January 2nd. There hasn’t been any official announcements as of yet regarding the All Star game or Prospect game.
