Grandview Steelers General Manager Aldo Bruno announced today that the Steelers have acquired defenseman Markus Johansen from the Kerry Park Islanders.
The New West native is coming home after playing on the island in the last two seasons.
The 18 year old defenseman will bolster a revamped back end for the Steelers who have been busy the last 48 hours.
To recap the busy day, the Steelers have added 3 forwards and 3 defenseman as they prepare for the stretch run towards the playoffs. The Steelers have added forwards Mason Brown, Ben Ruthven and Aidan Teixeira. On defense, the Steelers have added Johansen, Cam Northard and Ty Woodard.
