Steelers Win: Steelers Sail through Coastal

The Grandview Steelers hopped on the Ferry to sail to Gibsons on Friday (January 31st/2025) to take on Coastal Tsunami. And the Steelers swept the season series winning 5-2 in regulation.

As the 2024-2025 PJHL regular season comes to a close every game is a playoff game, with the Steelers still in the hunt. And this game was a display of all around success on the ice for the boys.

Depth forwards stepped up for the Steelers as Tyson Osachoff picked up the first goal of the game, Osachoff along with his linemates Aangid Manhas and Jack MacFarlane contributed to two of the teams five goals of the night.

And in their final seasons looking to close out strong Kassius Kler, Steven Konechny and Noah Gibbons all found themselves on the scoresheet. All in all it was a good showing of depth and veteran players stepping up for key games. You can watch the highlights here:

Despite winning this game, they are still four points back of the Port Coquitlam Trailblazers as they beat the Delta IceHawks in the shootout to keep their leg up on the Steelers.

With three games remaining this PJHL season, the Steelers will have to win out the season to have a chance to make the playoffs.
