Steelers Win: Hot Start Propels Win

Following an 8-2 win in Port Moody last weekend the Grandview Steelers came to back to home ice and kept the hot hand rolling is they oust Coastal Tsunami 7-2.

The Steelers started off hot, scoring five unanswered goals in the 1st period and beginning of the 2nd.
The Steelers first line once again steps up as they combined for 5 points on the night, with Steven Konechny scoring two of the seven goals.

The Steelers rookie depth has seemingly stepped up well with Josh Mantle scoring his third of the season and Tyson Osachoff scoring his 10th. Both of whom picked up a goal and an assist each.

However, Coastal Tsunami pushed back in the 2nd period as they scored two consecutive goals to end the 2nd period. Tsunami’s 3rd period penalty woes allowed the Steelers to garner momentum. With Steven Konechny scoring his 18th goal of the season (2nd of the game) and Noah Gibbons scoring his 9th.
