Steelers Win: 4th straight in a Nail Biter

The Grandview Steelers headed into Sunday’s game against the Richmond Sockeyes having won three straight, and in what is still a tight playoff race with Coastal Tsunami so far this season, the Grandview Steelers play comeback kids twice and beat the Richmond Sockeyes 6-5 in the shootout.

Despite trailing twice in the game, big moments from Captain Gabe Adam and the Steelers 1st forward line of Steven Konechny, Colby Longeau and Kori Belanger keep their point streak alive in dramatic fashion.

Eventually pushing the team to shootout, where Steven Konechny scored the lone shootout goal for the Steelers. And Ronin Geraghty was named 1st star of the game, making three shootout saves to grab two crucial points for the Grandview Steelers.
