Game Recap: Steelers streak ends in Abby

The Grandview Steelers rolled into Abbotsford riding a hot hand, having won their last four games prior to their defeat to the Pilots.

During the four game win streak the Steelers scored 25 goals.

And they headed into Abbotsford with that hot hand, scoring the first two goals of the game. Nonetheless a 2nd period rush of Pilots goals saw the Pilots take a 3-2 lead after 40 mins.

Despite a clutch goal from Rookie Forward Tyson Osachoff in the third period to tie the game with just over 11 minutes remaining, this seesaw of a game eventually tilted in Abbotsford’s favour.

A point shot from Pilot’s Defenceman, Jace Grabinsky made it’s way through traffic and hit the twine with less than a minute remaining in the game to end the Steelers winning streak. Moments of the game is now up on our YouTube Channel:

Steelers will look to bounce back in the win column this Sunday (November 24th) on home ice against the Ridge Meadows Flames.
