Game Recap: Jets Halt Steelers Comeback

The Grandview Steelers win streak ends at four as the league leading Chilliwack Jets beat the Steelers 5-3.
It was a physical game on both ends of the ice, but ultimately it was the Jets that broke in the scoreboard 1st with a goal scored in the first five minutes of the game.

And they scored the first three of the game.

However in the 2nd period it was defence that gave the Steelers life. Gabe Adam and Markus Johansen were able to bring the Steelers back within one. For Johansen, the goal kept his point streak going to five games.

And while the Steelers conceded an early 3rd period goal, they fought to stay in the match as Noah Gibbons scored on the powerplay.

All in all a back and forth game landed in favour of the Jets scoring an Empty Net Goal to seal their win.
