The Grandview Steelers were looking to make a comeback against the Ridge Meadows Flames Sunday night, but unfortunately were held off just enough by the Flames as they oust the Steelers 3-2 in regulation.
In a close game, the goalies were at the spotlight. For the Steelers, Ronin Geraghty the 2nd star of the game made crucial saves in the 1st and 2nd period(s) to keep the Steelers within striking distance.
Nonetheless, an early 3rd period goal by Jonah-Power Smith of the Ridge Meadows Flames, gave the Flames a little bit of breathing room for most of the 3rd period.
Inching closer to the end, Rookie Forward Tyson Osachoff capitalized on a partial break to put the Steelers within one. All in all, a last minute push by the Steelers was held off by the Flames.
