Game Recap: Early Deficit strikes the Steelers

To kick off December the Grandview Steelers hosted the Mission City Outlaws on Sunday, December 1st. Following a week filled with games (four in six days), the Steelers headed back on home ice.

Once again Ronin Geraghty starting goalie for the Steelers made three crucial saves early in the first period following three turnovers.

While Geraghty continued to secure the goal, the Mission City Outlaws were able to break through twice in the first period giving them a 2-0 lead. Heading into the second period, Steven Konechny scored a power-play goal to bring the Steelers back within one. However, with a penalty filled game like this one the Outlaws kicked off the third with a power-play goal.

In this game the referees called a total of 10 penalties
