Steelers captain Gabriel Adam dressed in 186 regular-season and playoff games with Grandview dating back to the 2020-21 campaign.
The native of North Vancouver, BC, scored 33 goals and 75 assists for 108 points over five seasons.
Steelers Head Coach Enio Sacilotto had coached Adam since he was 13, after Sacilotto finished working in the Western Hockey League and began coaching in West Vancouver. “It was nice to be around and guide him through hockey,” said Sacilotto.
“He was an excellent captain, and we couldn’t have asked for a better role model for all our young guys. He took hockey very seriously and came to work every day. He’s a highly rated defenceman who was a difference maker down the stretch,” he added.
The Grandview Steelers wishes Gabe Adam all the best moving forward.
